Today I had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful St. Marys Church in the heart of Stafford. I was accompanied by a lovely bunch of students from Stafford College... we were there to make some line drawings which we will be translating into wire work in a couple of weeks time. Although the place was a linear feast, I must admit to being seduced by the bright naive qualities within the tapestry mats... what an assortment of character!
