Last week during a trip to London I stumbled across the fantastic Waste Not exhibition at the Barbican. The Chinese artist Song Dong had displayed within the gallery his late Mother's 10,000 objects collected over five decades. The sea of objects was very powerful, I found myself associating a fabricated story with many of the items and wondered how so many objects shaped the owners existence.
